This job requires the setting up of Hotel Nana's Breakfast Cafe Kitchen which is located on one of the best rooftops in Thamel

The new recruit will provide assistance to the managers in setting up and launching the breakfast cafe in a short period of time
-
The breakfast cafe will mainly cater to the the Hotel's in house guest, with marketing done via Hotel Nana's in house marketing team, to increase awareness of the breakfast cafe.

Set up the Kitchen

Come up with seasonal menus

Responsible for purchasing, managing and stock keeping.

Operating the kitchen in a efficient manner

Identify ways to reduce food cost and maximise sales

Maintain the highest level of cleanliness

Ensure the quality of food and beverage is maintained

Food preparation

Running the food when understaffed

Responsible for the work kitchen and everything in its space

Reports to the Hotel Operations Manager and Chief Executive
Job Specification
· Check freshness of food and ingredients
· Develop recipes and determine how to present the food
· Plan menus and ensure uniform serving sizes and quality of meals
· Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas for cleanliness and functionality
· Hire, train, and supervise cooks and other food preparation workers
· Order and maintain inventory of food and supplies
· Monitor sanitation practices and follow kitchen safety standards
· Prepare and cook food for both daily sales and functions.
· Daily and weekly ordering of stock.
· Monitoring stock take and stock rotation.
· Control of ALL food that leaves the kitchen.
· Exceptionally good housekeeping.
· Take full responsibility for the cleaning of the kitchen.
· To deliver exceptional customer service.
