Key responsibilities:
The CCA Mainstreaming Associate will primarily lead the overall program planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting adaptation plan mainstreaming work in different districts focusing on mainstreaming of LAPA and ISWMP prepared in the first phase. S/he will also provide support to other cluster team (s) on need and priority basis. S/he will also be responsible for networking and organizing at community, Rural Municipality/Municipality, sub/watershed and river sub-basin level collaborating with local governments, line agencies and other projects/programs working in the district.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
At least Bachelor’s degree in forestry, agriculture, environmental science or relevant subject with at least 3 years of working experience particularly climate change adaptation, disaster risk reduction and watershed management, NRM governance, GESI and governance sector.
