Develop and execute plan for growth of the category assigned
Build the product assortment that will lead to achievement of sales targets, margin targets and customer satisfaction targets
Conduct Business Analysis, Business Planning and Merchandise Planning for the category in order to optimize sales, margins, inventory value and stock turns
Analyze consumer and sales trends in order to build the assortment, refine product pricing, promotions etc
Collate best practices and suggest improvements with reference to market trends and competition data
Summarily, some of the key aspects of the role would involve: Category Planning, Analysis & Reporting, Inventory Management, Visual Merchandising, Promotions & Marketing, Customer Satisfaction
Job Specification
Fluency in English
Demonstrated knowledge of Category Management philosophies, tools and processes and proven record of success
Prior experience analyzing retailer data and presenting key finding and recommendations to senior level executives
