Key responsibilies: The Cash & Voucher Specialist is responsible for providing advice and technical support, coordinang and managing CARE Nepal's cash for work projects in Nepal. As such s/he advises on, coordinates and manages the planning and implementaon of cash project acvies, manages cash & voucher project specific staff as applicable, and supports, coordinates the Shelter/ Livelihood and Demolion team leaders in planning the disbursement and help in the producon of internal and external narrave and financial reports. The Cash & Voucher Specialist ensure that acvies promote choice and dignity while impacng directly on local market economies to protect livelihoods. Preferred
Qualificaons and Experience: Master´s degree in relevant field of study (Management, Financial, development studies) with at least five years experience in a comparable social organizaon, preferably in Emergency response. A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in the field of food security and/or cash and voucher-based programming and program management. Knowledge of, and experience with, key back-donor requirements is desirable.
