Business Support Assistant-4(pos)

Under the direct supervision of the Programme Pollicy Officer responsible for Community Development (CDP) the Business Support Assistant (Programme) will have the overall responsibility of providing support for the field level implementation related to Capacity Development and Village Development Periodic Plan preparation contributing to the outputs of the Community Development Programme (CDP) implemented jointly in consortium partnership with RRN Nepal. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather information to support drafting the Village Development Periodic plan (VDDP) of the selected VDCs in the eastern terai and mid and far western Devolvement regions. 
  • Support for conducting training package on the capacity development activities under the CDP programme. 
  • Support for providing training package to local stakeholders ranging to different topics of participatory planning processes
  • Support the Programme Associates in providing guidance and capacity building support to Local Bodies (LBs): District Development Committees (DDCs) and VDCs for preparation of VDDP.
  • Support for processing and managing routine administrative and financial tasks in the districts to contribute to the effective and timely management of training and workshop.
  • Take responsibility for the maintenance of set standard system and files, to ensure information is accurate and readily available for the function. 
  • Take responsibility for date integrity to facilitate availability of accurate information in corporate system.
  • Participate in periodic meetings with beneficiaries and other programme stakeholders at district, and project-area in collaboration with the Coordinator.
  • Perform other duties as required.

General Requirements:

Education:    

  • Completion of Secondary school education with some knowledge on social mobilization in the districts and VDCs. 

Experience:    

  • Four or more years of progressively responsible work experience in the relative business stream with experience in general administrative work. 
  • Having experience of working in donor funded project and in a multi-disciplinary team will have an advantage. 
  • Having adequate competence in communication, planning and reporting in English language.
