HERD International is seeking a Business development officer to be a member of the central team and to contribute to business development and research uptake functions in coordination with the business development unit.
Purpose of the job
The Business Development Officer is one of the members of the Business Development Unit of HERD International, to work in a team to ensure the effective and efficient functioning of the unit. S/He should show genuine interest in writing successful grant proposals, blogs, policy briefs and handle the organization's social media accounts to strengthen our linkages with local donors, partners, and international foundations. The scope of the position is the accomplishment of the stated key end-results by providing professional expertise in creating an environment for conducting business opportunity assessments.
