CDV Global is a training organisation. We devise training strategies and training programmes for small grassroots NGOs that serve remote and rural communities.
We are setting up a new office in India, Mysore and require a Business Development Manager to create a new network of NGO partners throughout Nepal.
This is an exciting and dynamic position, with the potential for the right candidate to build the role into a leadership position very quickly.
Job entails travel throughout Nepal 30% of your time. Expenses paid.
The Business Development Manager is responsible for taking the business development lead, creating a network of partner NGOs that utilize the training systems that CDV Global delivers.
The right candidate must be a confident and fluent English speaker with advanced English writing skills. He/she must also possess the confidence and ability to work with senior managers of NGOs, have experience of the development sector, be articulate, have a very persuasive manner and of course great interpersonal skills. A background in training and consulting is beneficial.
Extensive training will be given on all policies and procedures prior to undertaking the role. It is expected that the role will entail approximately 30% travel across the region and there is potential for international travel in the future.
Essential skills:
Education:Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in public policy, politics, economics, development studies, business administration, public administration, social work or a related area.
In lieu of a MA/BA: 7 year’s work experience, including a minimum of 3 years at management level
Fluent spoken & written English
