USAID’s Knowledge-based Integrated Sustainable Agriculture and Nutrition (KISAN) project has the objective to sustainably reduce poverty and hunger in Nepal by achieving inclusive growth in the agriculture sector, increasing income of farm families and improving nutritional status, especially of women and children. KISAN works in 20 districts namely Achham, Baitadi, Dadeldhura, Doti, Kanchanpur, Kailali, Banke, Bardiya, Surkhet, Dailekh, Jajarkot, Dang, Rukum, Rolpa, Pyuthan, Salyan, Kapilvastu, Arghakhanchi, Gulmi and Palpa. KISAN invites application from qualified young, energetic and self-motivated Nepali citizens to fill the following positions:
Business Development Facilitator for Dadeldhura District
Required Competencies, Skills and Experiences:
• Minimum BBA with Major in Marketing or BSC Ag with major in Marketing / Economics and two years of field experience in related field or equivalent.
• MBA with Marketing or MSc Ag with specialization in Marketing/Economics will be preferred.
• Familiar with Nepalese agri-business and rural economy – the context and issues
• Good command in English - both speaking and writing.
• Interested to work and live under marginal living conditions
• Good team player and sensitive to inclusion issues prevailing in Nepal
• Motorbike driving license holder
