  • Develop account plans for customer relationships with revenue and value-add objectives with inputs from all relevant product partners.
  • Responsible for working jointly with team leader to ensure that credit applications for new and existing facilities including renewals are correctly prepared in accordance to group standards.
  • Contribute to the team’s business plans for the expansion of business opportunities in target areas.
  • Prepare call plans prior to customer visits to establish objectives and explore customer needs with the aim of matching products with the Customer Value Proposition.                
  • Complete call reports after each customer visit and attempted telephone contact.                      
  • Prompt recognition and reporting of deteriorating credit risks in his/her portfolio and ensuring that necessary steps are taken to minimize loss to the Bank.                
  • Day-to-Day monitoring and control of the relationships i.e. excesses, past dues, overdue reviews etc.
  • Identify and generate prospect opportunities.                                                           
  • Maintain proactive relationship with product partners, credit approvers, marketing unit and Service Delivery Units.                                                               
  • Responsible for the portfolio Quality                                                               
  • To sign off and follow up on difficult cases with regards to document deficiency and excesses.
  • To signoff on PCR, weekly excess report etc.
  • To be well versed with Department's operating systems.
  • Ensure clear and timely understanding and implementation/compliance to/of all procedures and regulations of the bank, group and country including money laundering.    
  • Monitor revenue MIS jointly with team leader
