Job Description

Inventory Management 

  • Manage space for storing raw material, packaging materials, consumables, spares, finished goods, utilities and other critical items.
  • Maintain a minimum defined level of rarw materials, packaging materials, consumables, spares, utilities and other critical items.
  • Maintain FIFO wherever required while issuing the materials after receipt of approved requisition and issue finished goods from the factory to ND/Dealers.
  • Define the nonmoving items and segregate them as per their definition.

Scrap Management 

  • Manage space within the factory for proper storage of various scrap materials.
  • Perform proper management of waste and scrap in the factory.
  • Ensure timely disposal of the scrap materials at the best realization.

Stock Reconciliation

  • Ensure that the closing stock as per system vs physical verification is matching at all the times.
  • Prepare schedule of depletion of materials.
  • Report the stock position of materials to facilitate the procurement plan of replenished materials on time. 

Local Procurement 

  • Build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
  • Audit process for selecting local suppliers and contractors for purchasing variety of goods locally. 
  • Review the local procurement process and suggest improvements.
  • Plan dispatch of finished goods as per requirement/demand.
  • Manage dispatch of finished goods in systematic manner.

 ERP Usage / Monitoring 

  • Ensure all inventory related data are fed into the Synergy ERP system.
  • Verify purchase indent for purchase process.
  • Authorize GRN and forward to Accounts department for further process.
  • Monitor if the Issue of materials from store are as per the requirements.
  • Conduct physical verification of the materials on timely basis.
