SLBS received operating license from central bank of Nepal as (Nepal Rastra Bank) “D” class financial institution on the date of 2070-03-06 (20th june 2013) to operate under the Bank and Financial Institution Act 2006. It started formal microfinance operation from 2070-04-01 (16 July, 2013) on its first branch office located in Putalibazar 1 sysngja .
