Organization Summary
The Shanker Group roots back to Rangoon Burma , in the year 1935, founded by Mr. Rawat Mal Golyan. He set up one of the first private sector industries of Nepal, The Button Factory during early 1960's.
His youngest son Mr. Shanker Lal Golyan, formed the Group in 1979.
From 1979-2000 he led SG as a very successful trading group with establishments in various parts of the world.
Soon there was consolidation of trading business and Shanker Group directed towards expansion in manufacturing sectors within Nepal and India.
