Execute and Monitors Sales of Paints brands/products in the territory.
Responsible for achieving the Sales Target
Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily sales reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annually territory analyses.
Studies competition activities by gathering current market place information on pricing, products, promotions, merchandising techniques, etc.
Plans for consistent innovative sales and marketing techniques to assist in overall sales and area growth
Effectively and efficiently handle the existing dealers and create new dealers & Sub dealers
Maintains healthy relationship with the dealers at the given territory
Communications all realistic market scenarios to the Country Manager on timely basis with recommendations
Identifies all potential opportunities to make effective sales call
Ensures proper merchandising and promotions at retail outlets and sends all claims in an honest and up-to-date format
Keep up with fluctuating demand and supply
Ensure promotions are in with company’s standards
All other responsibilities of a Area Sales Manager not mentioned in the above
