Location: Kathmandu (with frequent travel to Dolakha, Nuwakot and Dhading)

Education:
ï‚· Bachelors in Architecture
Prior work Experience:
ï‚· Two years in similar position
Language:
ï‚· Fluent in English in speaking, reading and writing are required.
Skills and abilities:
ï‚· AutoCAD/Rabbit software
ï‚· Familiar with various computer software packages, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel
Detail Term of Reference:
ï‚· Prepare Architectural and Structural drawings of buildings
ï‚· Producing detailed working drawings and specifications
ï‚· Delivering presentations and orientations related to safe construction
ï‚· Site verification and supervision of construction
ï‚· Consulting with other professionals about design
ï‚· Frequent site visits to check on progress
ï‚· Perform other duties as assigned

National Society for Earthquake Technology-Nepal (NSET), with funding support from United States Agency for International Development (USAID), is implementing a 5-year “Baliyo Ghar” program to contribute to safer reconstruction in Nepal.
The objective of the program is to ensure disaster- resilient construction of houses through awareness, training, demonstration and support on code compliance. The program aims to expand the technical knowledge and expertise gathered during the program implementation for achieving the broader goal of disaster resilient housing construction in Nepal.
