Nepal Agriculture Market Development Programme (NAMDP) is a bilateral initiative between the Government of Switzerland and the Government of Nepal. The project is being implemented jointly by Swisscontact and Center for Environmental and Agricultural Policy Research, Extension and Development (CEAPRED). Admin Assistant - 1
Supervisor: Admin and HR Officer
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Assist the Admin and HR Officer in smooth operation of day to day office activities
- Assist in soliciting quotations and procuring office supplies and fixed assets
- Maintain proper filing system of all relevant documents and records
- Manage petty cash and store supplies
- Supervise office support staff and manage vehicle movements
- Assist in managing the travels and accommodation of field visits, national and international workshops and seminars
- Assist Senior Admin and Finance Officer as and when needed
Required Qualification
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of experience in similar position, preferably in international organisation
- Strong written and spoken skills in English and Nepali languages and able to produce documents in Nepali language as well as strong Nepali typing skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package
- Able to multi-task and take responsibilities independently
