Job Title: Admin and Finance Officer(AFO)
Location: Based at Project office of Nepal Family Development Foundation office,
Lalitpur 10, Jwagal, Lalitpur
Duration of Contract: 24 months with 3-month Probation
Reporting to: Team Leader, executive committee, officer manager
Background
Nepal Family Development Foundation (NFDF) is a non-governmental, political and non-profit making organization, established in 2011 with aim of working in the field of health, education and livelihood of the community and families. The organization works through research, advocacy, publication, social mobilization, rehabilitation and reconstruction in coordination with concern agencies in comprehensive approach.
In collaboration Oxford University Clinical Research Unit-Vietnam (OUCRU-VN), OUCRU-NP and NFDF is conducting a Typhoid related clinical study.
A. Scope and Responsibilities

Lead financial administration of the project and office.

Maintain day to day financial and administrative activities.

Prepares the financial and administrative report and submit on monthly basis.

Prepare financial report for auditing and submitting to partner and donor in consultation with team leader

Is solely responsible to accounting system of the office and finance handling.

Maintain office systems / workplace at their own creativity to enhance efficient office work.

Act as Procurement officer, maintain day to day logistics and office supplies.

Keep the systematic record of the inventory (outgoing and incoming goods).

Familiarize herself/himself with the projects and programs run by the organization and identifies her/his areas of work under those projects and programmes.

Responsible to maintain financial track record ensure transparency and ensure accounting standard Nepal Family Development Foundation, HR Committee

Other additional duties as the research project evolve
B. Qualification, skills and experience
-
Advanced management or financial degree (Bachelor degree)
-
3-5 years’ experience in financial management and administration in development/research sectors
-
Substantial knowledge and experience in financial management of development/research project.

Excellent interpersonal, and communication skills
-
Excellent writing and speaking skills in Nepali and English

Strong computer literacy including financial software
-
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team successfully
