Job Description

This is a long term and senior position based in Kathmandu Office of S.W. Nepal Pvt. Ltd. (Scott  Wilson Nepal) /Deego Pvt Ltd in Maharajgunj. We are a Nepali consultancy firm working for more than 13 years in the development sector.
 
Qualifications and experience
 
Preferably Masters in Management with Major in Finance, Financial Management or account with extensive knowledge of accounting tools & packages and administrative knowledge. Experience of more than 4 years is essential.

A. Administrative Role and Responsibility. 
 
ï‚· Developing and maintaining administration of office systems paper and electronic (e.g. online file sharing systems such as Dropbox)
 
ï‚· Be responsible for carrying out, and helping develop where necessary, administrative systems such as records management and updating master contact databases
 
ï‚· Be responsible for dealing with day to day IT queries and some technical requests (liaising with appropriate support services where necessary to do so)
 
ï‚·  Maintaining and updating the annul planner and annual calendar
 
ï‚·  Organize team meetings, circulate agendas and take and circulate minutes
 
ï‚· Manage storage and post
 
ï‚· Perform general administrative duties; postage, opening post, responding to emails, ordering stationery, maintenance of equipment, etc. as required
 
ï‚· Organize events or meetings as required
 
ï‚· Be prepared to undertake any other duties as required
 
B. Financial Role and Responsibility. 
 
ï‚·  Be responsible for financial record keeping and administration - Ensure that all finances are properly administered and monitored in accordance with financial regulations and controls
 
ï‚· Be responsible for tracking petty cash, keeping appropriate records, and maintaining reconciliations
 
ï‚· Project end to end (E2E) financial support and guidance. 
 
ï‚· Project budgeting, profitability, cash flow and other financial analysis and reporting to management. 
 
ï‚· Prepare monthly financial reports for the CEO on income, expenditure, and any variations from budgets. Be prepared to provide this information as and when is needed
 
ï‚· Cash Planning and reporting to management. 
 
ï‚·  Setting key financial targets and driving team to achieve the same. 
 
ï‚·  Deliver financial milestones based on the project and guide the confirmation of income and cost. 
 
ï‚· Supervise the veracity of accounting data. 
 
ï‚· Prepare Project revenue, Cost, Collection and other financial KPI forecast and Supervise project financial KPI achievement. 
 
ï‚·  Support invoice raising and follow-up with clients for payment collection. 
 
ï‚·  Reconciliation of books of accounts with customer and vendor. 
 
ï‚· Risk analysis and control plan. 
 
ï‚·  Refresh standard costs and provide proper support and guidance to the bidding team.
 
ï‚·  Supporting requirements for internal audit, tax filing, and other legal requirements.
 
ï‚·  Expense monitoring & Controlling. 
 
ï‚·  Process monitor & improvement. 
 
ï‚· Project final accounting. 
 
ï‚·  Interact with other member in finance and help to solve any problem for project related to tax, compliance, payment, revenue and any other related financial problem. 
 
ï‚·  Provide training to other sections on finance compliance and other necessary jobs.
 
ï‚·  Coordinating and timely tax filing at Inland Revenue Department. 
 
ï‚· Maintain bank records, perform bank reconciliations, and deal with the bank on all financial matters (e.g. changing authorization, etc.)
 
ï‚· Prepare annual financial report for auditing 
 
ï‚· Support Auditor in preparation of audit report. 
 
ï‚· Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements as relating to Company Law, Income Tax Act and VAT Act.
 
ï‚·  Be responsible for researching and helping put in place additional financial policies and procedures as needed
 
ï‚· Maintain records to meet legal and tax requirements
