Whetstone Associates Pvt. Ltd is an Accounting and IT Consulting firm that has been actively involved in the accounting and management consulting, development of business processes and solutions.
Whetstone Associates has been doing accounting and management consulting of various companies and has deployed the accountant in representation of Whetstone to maintain the books of accounts of the company. Whetstone is currently looking for Accounts Analyst to oversee the activities of the accountant and make sure that the client’s books of accounts are kept up to date. Accounts Analyst shall conduct regular visit to the client’s office and assist the accountant to maintain the supporting documents, financial reports and ensure compliance with the Income tax regulations.
JOB DESCRIPTIONS
The overall job responsibility of Accounts Analyst shall be to oversee the activities performed by the accountants deputed in the clients of Whetstone Associates. The specific job descriptions of Accounts Analyst are as follows;
Make regular visit to the clients and assist the accountant in maintaining the books of accounts and documentation.
Conduct detail vouching of the vouchers raised by the accountant and make sure that adequate supporting documents have been maintained.
Ensure that the VAT is filed correctly and timely.
Ensure that the stocks are maintained properly and the recording are done in timely basis.
Ensure that the company is following the financial, administration and human resources policies and procedures.
Develop procedures for the smooth financial operations of the client’s company.
Investigate and provide feedback on accounting irregularities.
To ensure that the TDS are deducted and deposited on timely basis.
To prepare monthly financial and activities report.
Job Specification
The qualification for the position of Accounts Analyst shall be as follows;
Masters Degree in Accounts, Business or related fields / Semi Qualified Chartered Accountants / ACCA
Have experience in working as an Accountant for at least 3 years
Strong interpersonal skills and critical thinking skills
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Have sound knowledge of accounting and financial operation of the company
Have sound knowledge of income tax acts and regulations and filing tax returns.
